Dr Moss & Partners is a Harrogate Doctors' practice that has grown and developed on the principles of combining high standards of modern medical care with a personal and friendly service to patients. It provides essential, additional and enhanced services under the NHS Personal Medical Services (PMS) Contract. We offer a full general practice service and run specialist clinics and appointments for pregnant women, patients with diabetes, COPD or asthma, and for patients needing minor surgery. The practice is actively involved in research, funded by the National Institute of Health Research and we believe that all patients should have the opportunity to be involved in research. This year we say goodbye to two of our Partners, Dr Young who retired in May and Dr Goodman who retired at the end of July. Dr Goodman has been writing seriously in her spare time for about 8 years now and we are pleased to announce has her first book published. Writing under her married name of Carol Tetlow, ‘Out of Practice’ is the first in a series of four novels, based in general practice. Published by Editions Dedicaces, hard copies of Out of Practice can be bought on a variety of sites including lulu.com, amazon.co.uk, blackwellsonline and the electronic version is available on Amazon kindle.

We use a secure electronic health records system call SystmOne. With your permission, this system can allow clinicians to share your full record held here with other healthcare services who are providing care for you and use SystmOne. These other services will ask your permission to view your record.

Many organisations may use SystmOne including other GP practices, childrens services, community services and some hospitals. Sharing your records will help us deliver the best level of care for you. There is a leaflet available in the practice and here that we strongly recommend you read.
