Patient Representative Group
Dear Patient,
The main aim of our Patient Representative Group (PRG) is to ensure that patients are involved in decisions regarding the quality and range of services provided.
Our PRG is made up of patients from the practice, they come from a variety of ages, gender, abilities and ethnicity.
We would like to know how we can improve our service to you and how you perceive our surgery and staff.
To help us with this, we have set up a virtual patient representation group so that you can have your say. Initially we asked the members of this representative group their opinions such as what you think about our opening times or the quality of the care or service you received.
From the practice survey we made an action plan. This was sent out to the PRG and their opinions asked for. From the feedback we received, we have now:
- Made floor plans of the ground floor.
- Made lists of Doctors who work at the practice.
- Front door has a hook to ensure that it can be kept open.
- Introduced weekly Phlebotomy sessions at our Branch surgery.
- Female Doctors have regular sessions at the Branch surgery.
- Disabled access at Manston will improve when we have a new building which is subject to planning permission.
- In our Target training days we aim to work on our communication and listening skills.
